D33 and kp values of KNNT improved to be 264 and 48%, respectively. This KNNT has a rather high Qm value, indicating that the substitution of Cu ions at the Ta site is more preferable than the Nb site. These results may suggest that the possibility of new piezoelectric materials do not include harmful Ba, Bi and Sb. CONCLUSION Co-addition of perovskite alkali earth titanate and manganese is effectively improves the electric properties of KNN based piezoelectrics. It was, however, difficult to make KNN-ST solid solutions including large amounts of ST due to the formation of liquid phase.
