TEM examinations (head and gauge length) at different times and temperatures to evaluate on base metals and in weld metals or HAZ (Heat Affected Zone), for the welded joints, in order to assess and quantify the strain-induced precipitation effect on overall microstructure evolution (measured in terms of precipitation evolution and coarsening, formation of new phases).
