This section presents a DGVCSs’ taxonomy organized around the main characteristics, which differentiate the presented projects: level of scalability, architecture, type of resource provider, scope of the supported applications, supported application models, platforms implementing the DGVCS, portability, granularity for adding resources, license type, ability to specify the desired resources, ease of use and resource usage model (see Figure 12).
